SEADRIFT CITY COUNCIL
Three seats on the Seadrift City Council, currently held by Tracey Johnson, Kenneth Reese and Geoff Hunt, will be decided May 6. Reese, Johnson and Hunt have filed for reelection. Howard Heath Sr. also filed to run.

The top three vote getters will be elected to the council.

Early voting hours at Seadrift City Hall, located at 501 S. Main St., are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 24, Wednesday, April 26, and Friday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, and Thursday, April 27. Hours for the last two days of early voting, May 1 and May 2, will 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Election Day voting will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Community Center. The last day ballots by mail can be received is May 6 at 7 p.m. if not postmarked or Monday, May 8, at 5 p.m. if postmarked by 7 p.m. at the location of the election.
