My Story

What experience or training best prepares you to serve as justice of the peace?
I have gained over 5.5 years of hands-on experience working directly within the Justice of the Peace office, where I have learned the daily operations, procedures, and responsibilities of the court. Working closely with Judge Pomykal has provided me with invaluable firsthand knowledge and mentorship, preparing me to step confidently into the elected role of Justice of the Peace.

How do you balance enforcement of the law with fairness and accessibility for the public?
Once a case is filed in the Justice of the Peace Court, it is essential that the judge remains fair, impartial, and unbiased. Decisions must be based strictly on facts, evidence, and applicable law, without influence from personal opinion or emotion. Every case deserves to be evaluated on its own merits to ensure justice is applied consistently and equitably for all parties involved.

What would be your top priorities if elected?
My top priority would be to uphold the law as required by the Texas Constitution and the multiple Texas Codes that govern the Justice of the Peace Court. I am committed to ensuring that all proceedings are conducted properly, ethically, and efficiently so that justice is served fairly and equally for everyone who comes before the court.

Why should voters choose you over your opponent?
Voters should choose the candidate who brings proven experience and a deep understanding of the position they seek. I have proudly served and been connected to the Calhoun County community for over 20 years, and I have actively supported and served the Port O’Connor community for more than 15 years through various organizations. I am dedicated to continuing my service and representing my community with integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
