My Story

What do you see as the most pressing issue facing Calhoun County over the next four years, and what specific steps would you take as county judge to address it?
The most pressing issue in Calhoun County are Roads and Bridges I will learn all I can about road and bridges maintenance. Do annual work plans and drive Calhoun County and Pursue my Continue Education. Earning public trust and judicial ethics. I will be more informed about court decisions and limited county funding. I plan to increase transparency, make court calendars, rulings and procedures easily accessible, and reinforce trust.

County judges oversee budgeting and emergency management. How would you balance fiscal responsibility with preparing for hurricanes and other disasters?
I would balance fiscal responsibility with integrate infrastructure planning, managing and improving drainage. Dedicated emergency funding and reserve accounts. Proactive maintenance as prevention. Seek extra funding source. Develop mutual aid agreements.

What role should the county play in economic development, and how would you work with cities, industry, and residents to protect quality of life?
The county role play in economic development by providing a sable framework foundation, laws, infrastructure competition, foster innovation and invest in people’s education & health. Support local businesses Prioritizing Green Spaces and while balancing growth.

How would you describe your leadership style?
My leadership style is led with integrity determination and accountability. I am firm, fair and consistent. I center on empowering members to take ownership of their work with clear direction and support. Open communication and listening. So Everyone can do their Best Work. Open door. Transformational / shared vision.

What does transparency in county government mean to you, and how would you ensure residents have access to timely and accurate information?
Transparency means Citizens have access to information and county actives. Transparency bults Trust. I would ensure residents have access to timely and accurate Information.

Why are you the most qualified candidate for this position?
I am most qualified for County Judge because I care for every citizen in this county. I have over 40 years in business/public relations. I Look for Contined education. I have construction experience and knowledge I am a Fast Learner and we need a Big Change and I will ignite a becon of Hope and prosperity, shaping a Brighter, Beautiful future for Calhoun County.
